Sustainable Energy for the Future

Eccleshall Biomass was developed in 2002 in response to the following national and regional targets:-

UK renewable energy targets of 10% by 2010
*
UK greenhouse gas reduction targets of 12.5% by 2010
*
DEFRA sustainable development objectives
*
Need for local farm diversification opportunities
*
Support local Renewable Energy Industry

The project was developed as a partnership between the following:-

Raleigh Hall Properties Ltd who have provided the site for the plant adjacent to Raleigh Hall Industrial Estate and carried out the building and the infrastructure for the plant.

Talbott's Biomass Energy who are Stafford based and have 30 years experience in manufacturing energy systems and have over 3,000 working installations worldwide and have designed the plant and acted as one of the main contractors.

BiEcc Ltd. Local miscanthus growers group established in response to a need for energy crops for the power plant
